Meet your Nurse practitioner

I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Kathryn Martinez and I'm a nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping people improve their mental health and well being.

My approach is focused on helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their emotions, behaviors, and symptoms in order to better understand their feelings. Through diagnostic tools and assessment, clients will have a deeper understanding of themselves.

What to expect?

Assessment and Goal Setting

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing your reasons for seeking treatment. I'll ask questions about your current challenges, past experiences, and personal goals to help me understand your unique needs. We will develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Follow up Sessions

In our treatment sessions, we will work together to identify patterns of behavior and thought that may be causing or contributing to your challenges. We'll also explore your feelings and emotions in a supportive and non-judgmental environment in regards to medication and symptom management. This will help identify an individual treatment plan for your needs

REVIEW AND SUPPORT

Each time we meet we will evaluate how you are feeling, medication continuation, and strategies. Are these medications helping you? Did we develop coping skills in order to taper off medications? Do you feel happier and better with medication support?
